Yorkshire's Sensory Stars
Celebrating the achievements of visually and hearing impaired children and young people across West Yorkshire

Yorkshire's Sensory Stars Awards will recognise and celebrate the successes of visually and hearing impaired children and young people in West Yorkshire, as well as their siblings and volunteers who work with them. A range of categories will honour those as young as one year old up to young adults of 24 years of age.

SHINING STAR AWARD These awards are open to children and young people who live in West Yorkshire, who are hearing and/or visually impaired, and have a story of inspiration and success to share. There are three age categories, 1-8yrs, 9-15yrs and 16-24yrs.
SIBLLING AWARD This award are is open to all children / young people who live in West Yorkshire, and have a brother, sister, cousin or any child living full time in the same household, who has a sensory impairment. Children and young people between the ages of 1-24 years old may be nominated.
VOLUNTEER AWARD Any individual who works as a volunteer to help improve the lives of visually and/or hearing impaired children and young people in West Yorkshire. Open to all volunteers- adults and children. No minimum or maximum age. More info
